Why We Should Be Eating Parsley


I love juicing with parsley. It gives it a cool addition of flavor and smells nice too. But, the health benefits of parsley are the main reason I make it a common staple in my juice.

Some of the health benefits are:

*Preventing cancer--Because of the high concentration of myricetin in parsley, it can help prevent skin cancer. Also, parsley can block cancer-causing effects of chemical compounds that can lead to cancer. Tumor size can also be decreased.

*Protecting against diabetes--Parsley can lower blood sugar levels and decrease insulin resistance.

*Improving bone health--Ten sprigs of parsley help reach the daily recommendation of vitamin K, which improves bone health.

Parsley is one of my new favorites, and I encourage you to try it!
